Derek Nordin has been serving as Senior Vocational Consultant of the Vocational Consulting Group since 1983, and as President since 1991. Mr. Nordin has earned a reputation as one of the leading experts in his field. He also co-developed the Computer Assisted Vocational Exploration System (CAVES™). This program, uniquely developed for VCG, can determine the occupations potentially available to a client before and after their injury. Mr. Nordin received his Master of Education Degree in Counselling Psychology; Professional Teaching Certificate; and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia.

Expert Witness Mr. Nordin has been qualified as an Expert Witness in Vocational Rehabilitation in the Supreme Courts of British Columbia and the Yukon, as well as the Court of Queen’s Bench in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and New Brunswick. He has also accepted as an expert in the Superior Court (Trial division) of Washington State, USA.
